The Houston Texans will take on the Cleveland Browns this Sunday at NRG Stadium so it’s time to sit down with the enemy to get some intel.

The Houston Texans fan base deserves to know what’s going on the minds of opposing team’s fans so it’s only right for me to ask the questions that you want to know about your opponent.  I sat down with Ryan Rosko of Factory of Sadness — our Cleveland affiliate — to pick his brain as much as I could.

I’ve asked him five questions about the state of the organization as they’re looking more toward the future than what’s happening in front of them now:

"Me:  How disappointed are you in the Browns’ passing on Deshaun Watson considering how he’s playing as of right now?Ryan: I’m disappointed but I understand why and how he’s had success. Watson wasn’t my No.1 QB (Patrick Mahomes) was. I have confidence in Kizer though regardless and if he can get the help on offense then it will exciting to watch how those two’s careers plays out.Me: How are your feelings of the switch at quarterback from Deshone Kizer to Kevin Hogan?Ryan:  Hogan shouldn’t be playing. I’d rather have waited to start Kizer until after the bye when they face the Detroit Lions. However, since that did not happen, I’d rather have seen him play his rookie year out.Me:  I think Hue Jackson deserves another year despite how the Browns have been performing as of late. He’s really trying to win games but has been dealt a bad hand. Watt’s early case for NFL Hall of Famethe recent switch to Hogan, does this mean he’s under pressure to win some games?Ryan:  Even before the switch to Kevin Hogan, Hue Jackson has had pressure on him. He and some fans will say that playing Hogan gives them the best chance to win. I won’t go that far but since DeShone Kizer started the season, Jackson should live with the growing pains.Me:  What are your thoughts on Corey Coleman inability to stay on the field? Cleveland’s offense would be a lot more potent with but is there any hope for him among Browns’ faithful?Ryan: Being and staying healthy has been Corey Coleman’s biggest challenge. He certainly would help the offense but being that he’s been a liability so far, Coleman’s long-term prospects seem bleak. However, things could change quickly. I had mixed feelings when he was drafted and unfortunately when Coleman was healthy, his play has shown more of my initial doubts.Me: Cleveland has gone outside of the box with hiring Paul DePodesta in your front office, highly-respected in sports analytics circles. Something different needed to be tried but what’s your thoughts on his job performance along with Sashi Brown thus far?Ryan:  The duo has upgraded their offensive line and added key players on defense. However, they have failed to fix the QB and WR position enough. In an ideal world, Brown goes back to focusing on contracts and numbers, DePo has a different role and someone say Peyton Manning calls the shots with personnel starting this offseason."

I’m hoping you enjoyed our brief chat that occurred between both of us.  The Texans should win this game tomorrow — unless something catastrophic happens — and we’ll be back at .500 going into the bye week.

Go Houston Texans.
