Houston Astros: Three reasons why the ALCS will be an all-out war
For the Houston Astros two seasons ago, the goal of reaching the ALCS was there.
It was so close for the Houston Astros, and yet so far. Once again, we entered that territory and had to endure a tense moment. But this time, we went from coming home for game five to coming home for a potential ALCS Game 1.
Well, it took a heart-stopping game, but our Houston Astros finally made it through. The ALCS. It’s so beautiful for us to say. Of course, we already know the NLCS (thank you St. Louis Cardinals). Don’t you remember the NLCS? Well here’s a fresh reminder.
And here was the inning that got us there.
Oh! And remember the list I did from my previous article?
Let’s update that now. Shall we?
- 1978 Dodgers
- 1995 Braves
- 2006 Cardinals
- 2011 Rangers
- 2014 Giants
- 2016 Cubs
- 2017 Astros
That’s more like it.
Survey Time!
So now, let’s take a survey. How many people celebrated by either…
A) Getting into a disco mood and sang a classic 70’s theme song showing our progress?
B) Went to your favorite place and became the most popular guy who had their meal and drinks paid for?
C) Told off a few people who picked the Red Sox? (Watch the scene when the train pushes the freight cars).
D) All of the above.
If you did D, congratulations. You just entered my world for I did all of the above.
Or at least, that’s what I would’ve done had I not realized we still have business to do.
Don’t Tell Me We Have For the Indians-Yankees series to end.
We have to wait for the Indians-Yankees series to end.
I Asked You Not to Tell Me That.
Yes, it’s true. We have to wait to see who we’ll face off against.
