As the regular season comes to a close for the Houston Astros, it is now time to take a look at how the Post Season Roster is shaping up.

The one big question lingering for the spacemen in this final week of the season is who will make the Houston Astros Post Season Roster. This will not be an easy one to answer, for sure. Too many variables still remain.

Will Lance McCullers be able to pitch in the post season like he did in the first half of the season? Is it possible that Carlos Beltran gets reduced to more of a bench role? Has Mike Fiers reached the end of his road with the team?

Skipper A.J. Hinch has some tough decisions to make over the next few days. After Sunday’s loss to the Halos, some tweaking will almost certainly need to be done.

But how does he go about doing this?

Options have been abound for this Astros team all season. If one player falters, another one is right there to pick them and the whole team back up again. It’s the best way to explain the team having a 95-60 record so far.

However, once the playoffs start, the luxury of having a 40 man roster will be reduced back down to a 25 man roster. This will limit the options and create some awkward situations.

Here’s how the spacemen can go about doing this effectively throughout the playoffs.
