The Houston Texans will have a lot of important decisions to make before the Saturday, Sep. 2 deadline of trimming the roster to 53 men, here’s my preference of how it should be carried out.

This is usually a trying moment for most Houston Texans fans.  It’s the moment of truth for the guys that we’re rooting for to make this team but they likely won’t because either their competition is just a bit better or is more versatile.

The deadline for all NFL franchises to cut their roster to the ballyhooed number 53 is this Saturday, Sep. 2 at 3 p.m. CDT.  Rest assured that House of Houston will be provided you the coverage that you deserve in regard to these developments.

But let’s have some fun here.  Whom would you keep on your roster?  Whom would you cut?  I’m going to go into detail — by position — the 53 men that should be representing the Houston Texans come Sep. 10, the start of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

We talk about the offense on my podcast, Locked on Texans along with my Co-Host Robert Land here as well:

We all have strong opinions about this but I’m going to let you know what would work best for this team.
