AFC Championship Game – Houston Texans @ New England Patriots

Actual Score: N/A

Simulated Score: Houston 22, New England 21

I am speechless as you are about this.

In a surprising twist of events, the Texans overcame a New England rally to win the AFC Championship game and go to the Super Bowl. Houston started off with a 16-0 lead only to see the Patriots respond with 21 straight points. Houston would then mount a drive that sees Matt Schaub find Owen Daniels for the game-winning score.

More from House of Houston

Schaub completed 17 of 30 passes for 211 yards and three touchdown strikes while his counterpart threw one touchdown pass on 12-22 for 142 yards.  Arian Foster continued his hot playoff run with 24 touches and 134 yards. Daniels would catch two TDs while Jacoby Jones added another.

Scoring

1st Quarter

HOU – 0:00 TD Owen Daniels 6 yd pass from Schaub (6-0 HOU)

2nd Quarter

HOU – 7:33 FG Neil Rackers 50 yds (9-0 HOU)

HOU – 3:24 TD Jacoby Jones 33 yd. pass from Schaub (16-0 HOU)

NE – 1:27 TD Danny Woodhead 24 yd. run (21-16 NE)

Well, Matt Schaub was able to lead Houston to the Super Bowl. The question becomes how will they do against the New York Giants? Will they win or will they lose?
