As Houston Sports fans, we have a tendency to get excited and openly proclaim that winning will be something easy for us to attain.  But then again, we’re just like every other city and their sports fans who have to endure success and hardships.

I’ll be perfectly honest here. I am a hardcore Houston Sports fan. I’m sure you are as well. You fans cheer for the Astros, Dynamo, Rockets, and Texans as hard. When your team wins, you get excited and start planning on the day a parade will come after a championship is there. If your team loses, you probably fret and pout for the rest of the day.

Yes, I have experienced those feelings on a daily basis as a Houston Sports fan. Is it always the right way to act? To a certain degree, yes and no. There really is no right or wrong way to feel.

However, we have to take a step back sometimes to remind ourselves where we are right now. We got the best American League baseball team right now that’s contending for a World Series title. Chris Paul signed with our NBA team while the Texans are training for another season that could see the team geared up for a great run.

All right! I know what the naysayers are probably thinking at this point.
