This is where the battle for the 7th and 8th seed starts to get interesting. The Mavs definitely have the toughest schedule with games against teams that are all desperately vying for their playoff position. They should beat Minnesota but games against Houston, Memphis, the Clippers and Utah may prove too tough an ask for them.

The games against Utah and Houston are worth doubly important in reality, as they have a huge change to leapfrog their rivals in those games. But knowing Gregg Popovich, he could gift the final game to the Mavs by resting his starters and all his older players so that could prove handy for Dallas when the season ends.
