The Grizzlies are now only one game ahead of the 6th-seeded Portland Trail Blazers but they face the toughest schedule out of the teams placed five through to nine in the West. As far as good news for the Grizz,
Mike Conleymight return at some point before but with games against Golden State Warriors (twice) and the Los Angeles Clippers to close I doubt he will be able to make much of a difference with the amount of injuries they’re dealing with.
I highly doubt the Grizzlies fall out of the playoffs because the other teams are losing just as badly right now but I expect them to lose the 5th seed to the Blazers before the playoffs begin. The Grizzlies have a couple of tough games coming up which they will start of with a loss to the Magic. The Magic have been red-hot this last week and Nikola Vucevic has returned so they will have too much firepower for them. The Bulls are desperate for wins and they’ll also lose that game but they will come out on top against the also short-handed Dallas Mavericks.
Projected Home Stretch Record: 1-5
End of Season Record: 42-40
