For the Texans, here are the players that are listed on the injury report:

ILB Max Bullough, Shoulder/Hamstring

OLB Jadeveon Clowney, Back

DE Jared Crick, Ankle

ILB Brian Cushing, Non-Injury Related

ILB Akeem Dent, Hamstring

More from House of Houston

CB Kevin Johnson, Thigh

C Ben Jones, Thumb

CB Johnathan Joseph, Calf

K Nick Novak, Right Thigh

ILB Brian Peters, Hamstring

RB Chris Polk, Hamstring

WR Nate Washington, Hip

Hoyer and Jackson have been ruled OUT for Sunday’s contest.  Dent and Polk are listed as questionable.  Bullough, Clowney, Crick, Cushing, Hopkins, James, Johnson, Jones, Joseph, Novak, Peters and Washington are probable as well as ready to go against the Jets.

Houston Texans’ Tidbits:

Brian Hoyer:  Hoyer hasn’t practiced all week and is still undergoing the NFL’s concussion protocols as per the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson. Hoyer was sacked by Bengals’ defensive tackle Domata Peko in the third quarter causing him to land on his head, causing him to experience some memory loss in regard to what just happened to him.  On a positive note, Wilson said that Hoyer did attend practice Friday and showed no sensitivity to light — it was sunny outside — a jutting symptom of a concussion.  However, Hoyer is expected to return next week against the New Orleans Saints.  T.J. Yates will start in his stead.

Kareem Jackson:  Jackson did practice — albeit limited — this week but the Texans’ staff hasn’t seen quite enough to where he’s ready to make a return back to the field.  Jackson has missed three straight games with a right ankle injury.  Kevin Johnson will get the start opposite Johnathan Joseph this Sunday.

Akeem Dent & Chris Polk:  Dent and Polk were limited in practice this week and have both been dealing with hamstring injuries since their contest against the Bengals this past Monday.  Although they are listed as questionable, expect Max Bullough and Jonathan Grimes/Alfred Blue to slide in their spots respectively.
