It would be very difficult to draft worse than Rick Smith has during his tenure. Other than first round picks and a few solid picks later on, the Texans have missed time and time again.
The most outstanding draft in team history was Charley Casserly’s last in 2006. Mario Williams turned out to be a the right pick. I hope Clowney turns out the same way, though I’ll take better too.
The jury is still out on the 2015 class, but Smith’s track record gives little hope.
