NBA Star Anthony Davis will be the host of this event and is calling all ballers in H-Town to bring their A-game as the winning team qualifies for a trip to Chicago for the Finals Aug. 22!
Will it be you? Do you have what it takes?
The tourney will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. but participants are encouraged to get there early as only the first 24 teams present will be allowed to participate!
Click here to register and by the way, registration is FREE!

Still not convinced?
The winning team of this qualifier not only gets a trip to Chicago for the Red Bull Reign Finals but will also take home a whopping $2,000!
There is a consolation prize — the second-place team does win $1,000 — but you want to be first right?
Then click here to register NOW.
This qualifier is open to amateurs and pros but you must be 18-years-old to register.
And there’s more…
The ultimate victor out of the Chicago gets an automatic spot in the FIBA 3-on-3 World Championships that will be held in Rio de Janiero!
If that doesn’t sound tempting, I don’t know what will.
I’m honestly thinking about lacing up my sneaks myself!
Houston is just one of seven qualifying tournaments that are being held across the country at different dates.
There are also qualifying events being held in Oklahoma City (also this Saturday), Memphis (July 11), Indianapolis (July 25), Detroit (Aug. 8), Cleveland (Aug. 8) and Chicago (Aug. 22).
SLAM Magazine will also be a part of promoting this event which is certainly a winning combination with Red Bull.
I’ve been reading SLAM magazine since my days as a teenager and their content continues to be cutting-edge and gets quite in-depth than your average hoops publication.
Who still has the SLAM mag with LeBron James and Sebastian Telfair on the cover when these guys were in high school?

I know I do but I think I’ll have to rummage through the pile of mags I’ve accumulated over the years to find it!
Any way, old memories aside, this IS the tourney to be a part of and they’re looking for you!
DO IT!
