Ty Lawson

Perhaps the most probable scenario for the Houston Rockets this off season is to trade for Ty Lawson.

The point guard has already expressed discontent with the organization this past season and Houston has attractive trading pieces like Terrence Jones, Kostas Papanikolaou, and draft picks the Nuggets might be interested in.

Lawson averaged 15.0 PPG and 9.6 APG compared to Patrick Beverley‘s 10.0 PPG. and 3.4 APG in 2014-15. With this acquisition, Houston will take a hit defensively, however, a ton of offensive weight would be taken off of Harden’s shoulders, which, in result, would reduce the team’s turnovers significantly.

Lawson is a fearless play maker and will be a quality addition to Houston’s up-tempo style of play. It didn’t take long for Harden and Lawson to meet up this off season.
