Houston Texans 2015 Draft Board: Character Counts

From a football perspective, Dorial Green-Beckham would be an ideal candidate to replace the recently departed Andre Johnson. The former National High School Player of the Year has the size (6’5″), speed (4.49 in the 40), and scoring ability (12 TDs in his last season with Missouri) that the Texans covet.
Unfortunately, Green-Beckham is the poster child for the type of player that Bob McNair isn’t looking to add to his locker room. His “pattern of bad behavior” includes multiple arrests for marijuana possession, including one where police found “approximately a pound of marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia” in the vehicle he was riding in; an incident where he narrowly escaped a felony first degree burglary arrest after allegedly dragging a fellow student from her apartment by her neck and pushing her down the stairs (the alleged victim refused to press charges); and his dismissal from the Missouri football program in April of 2014.
Make the case for why Green-Beckham would be a good fit all you want; he’s not coming to Houston.
