4. Colby Rasmus, LF/CF
As stated in the slide before, the Astros leftfield position was not a strong-suit last season and could be in for an upgrade. Rasmus has been a guy who has intrigued me since he first came up with the Cardinals (Connection?!?!). By now we know what Rasmus can do. He will hit around .250 with low walks, high strikeouts, 15-20 HRs, while playing pretty good defense. Almost sounds like what Marisnick could become.
The key with Rasmus is cost. He won’t cost nearly as much as Cabrera and could still provide an upgrade in the Astros outfield. In 2013 he hit.276 with 22 HRs and posted 4.6 WAR. That would be an awesome addition to the Astros outfield and lineup.
