Rajon Rondo is one of the premier passing point guards in the league today. He is one of a handful of true point guards in the league and excels at putting his teammates in the best positions to score. Over the course of his career he has learned to give certain guys the ball during key moments of the game. He has also learned when it is time to take matters into his own hands and make a big play himself.

On the defensive side he has a 6’9” wingspan that can swallow up opposing guards. He is an excellent leader and a winner. He was the “other guy” of the first “Big 3”, in the modern era with the Boston Celtics. He holds a career average of almost 2 steals a game and his lateral quickness is unmatched.

Rondo is a superstar in the league yet he will be apart of numerous trade rumors in the coming months. It is hard to find a guard that is engaged on both ends of the floor, like Rondo is. Nobody knows if Rondo will be traded or not throughout the season, but one thing is for sure, he is an excellent floor general and leader. He defines what it means to be a coach on the floor.
