On the surface, the Houston Texans had one the best drafts in the NFL this past weekend. While many will applaud the Texans’ selection of the athletic monster known as Jadeveon Clowney, it was the Texans other picks that deserve the most attention and praise. General Managers’ careers are often defined on their success in the later rounds, and it looks like Rick Smith and company did a fantastic job of selecting possible diamonds in the rough. More importantly, they did it at the right value and stayed true to their board.
