University of Houston football coach Tony Levine surprised one of his players and his mom earlier this month with a full scholarship for her son.
Levine invited both Kyle Bullard, junior walk-on kicker, and his mother into his office for a meeting. Levine starts the meeting talking about scholarship limits and it’s clear that both Kyle and his mom, Lynn, are nervous as the exchange goes on.
I won’t spoil the rest of the video but you know what happens next!
Don’t these stories just get you every time?!? Can you imagine being the mother of the kicker? Everything Levine says is pointing to her son not getting the scholarship, and then Levine totally whips out the amazing news. Congrats to Kyle and the Bullard family!
The last name, Bullard, has been good to the city of Houston and is especially good at ringing up three points on the board. Bullard was a perfect 6/6 on field-goals and 10/10 on extra points in 2013.
