Houston Astros Announce Opening Day Roster And Lineup

With Opening Day quickly approaching the Astros have finalized their Opening Day roster for 2014.
Jesse Crain, Asher Wojciechowski, and Alex White were all sent to the disabled list, backdated to to March 21st.
The Roster
C – Jason Castro, Carlos Corporan
1B – Jesus Guzman, Marc Krauss
2B – Jose Altuve
SS – Jonathan Villar, Marwin Gonzalez
3B – Matt Dominguez
OF – L.J. Hoes, Robbie Grossman, Dexter Fowler, Alex Presley, Chris Carter
SP – Scott Feldman, Jarred Cosart, Brett Oberholtzer (L), Lucas Harrell, Dallas Keuchel (L)
RP – Matt Albers, Anthony Bass, Kevin Chapman (L), Jesse Crain (DL), Josh Fields, Brad Peacock, Chad Qualls, Alex White (DL), Jerome Williams, Asher Wojciechowski (DL)
There will be eight Astros making their first Opening Day roster: Chapman, Cosart, Grossman, Hoes, Keuchel, Krauss, Oberholtzer, Villar.
The Astros will be facing C.C. Sabathia on Tuesday and have announced their Opening Day Starting Lineup.
You should expect to see Fowler, Grossman, Altuve, Castro, Guzman, Carter, Dominguez, Hoes, Villar.
The Astros are also expected to send some of their best prospects to Class-A Lancaster. Carlos Correa, Mark Appel, Rio Ruiz, Vincent Velasquez, and Lance McCullers are all expected start the season on the west coast. Teoscar Hernandez is another top 15 Astros prospect that may join them there. George Springer and Michael Foltynewicz will begin the season with the Triple-A Oklahoma City Redhawks.
Expect to see many of the Astros top prospects jump a level or two during the season. Springer should see much time with the Major League team and Foltynewicz, Appel, and Correa could join them later on in the season, or in September.
