SHOOTING GUARDS
Who do we have?
How are they doing?
I’ll tell you right now, this slide is 95% about James Harden.
The 5% I have to say about Ronnie Brewer can be summed up in this sentence:
I miss Carlos Del”three”no.
Anyways, back to Harden. Our editor at House of Houston, Marcus Chavez, did a great job of summing up all the things that are wrong with James Harden and even made a case for why the Rockets should trade him.
I agree with him on a lot of points, but I will still take a superstar that doesn’t play defense 10 times out of 10 over a Tony Allen or Matt Barnes.
Harden is so much fun to watch when he’s on, but when he’s off it’s like watching someone pull your teeth out. SO PAINFUL!
Overall Grade: B+
Reason: Harden’s defense drops this group down half a grade, and the fact that Ronnie Brewer is getting paid a guaranteed contract brings it down another half a grade.
