Top Five Houston Sports Moments In 2013

What a long, long year it has been for the city of Houston. Most cities can usually come up with a “Top 5 (insert city) Sports Moments In 2013” pretty quickly and often can at least go to 10. Unfortunately, I legitimately struggled to find five great moments.
Will 2014 be better? I think so. It has to be. Last week I made a “Holiday Shopping List” for each Houston team and let’s just say they need a lot!
It took a while to figure out which moments I wanted in my top five. It would have been a lot easier to make some sort of list involving all bad moments in this city, and we will have that for you tomorrow. In the meantime, my top five happens to consist of one win or event from five different teams in Houston. If you’re wondering what event just missed the top five? The city of Houston winning the rights to host the Super Bowl. So yea, it’s been a long year.
