Whitney Mercilus is tied with Watt for the team lead with 4.5 sacks. However, Mercilus has been mostly a disappointment outside of his few sacks. Brooks Reed has also been a major disappointment at OLB. The only noticeable part of his game this season has been his hair. Brian Cushing was having another good season before his injury. Joe Mays has been a pretty solid addition for the Texans and his safety against the Titans proved to be a major play in that win. Joe Mays and Darryl Sharpton will be the starting inside linebackers with Cushing now out for the season.
