The Houston Rockets schedule have been released to the fans and we’re all trying to figure out what match ups are going to be ones that we circle in red on our calendars.  Speaking of that, here’s five must-watch match ups for the 2018-19 season that you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled on.  Let’s take a dive.

For the Houston Rockets, it’s touch-and-go as training camp is on final approach will be here before we know it.  The NBA schedule unveiling is just as exciting as with any of the other Big 3 sports schedule releases and the 2018-19 schedule release is none the exception.

With the Houston Rockets making considerable moves to stay relevant and competitive to win a NBA championship, there’s no question that this team can hit close to the 65-win mark that they made last season.

It’s hard to the duplicate the type of success they had with the loss of Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute but their departure may not sting as much as one may think.  With the re-signing of Chris Paul, Gerald Green and Clint Capela as well as the free-agent signings of Michael Carter-Williams, James Ennis and soon-to-be member of the Houston Rockets Carmelo Anthony, one can make the case that this team has gotten better.

It will be up Mike D’Antoni and the rest of his staff to mix-and-match the tremendous amount of depth that the team has to make it work — especially for Melo’s sake — but I think many will surprised as to how this will actually work.

But without further adieu, let’s take a look at the Top 5 match ups for 2018-19.  Here we go, from FIVE to ONE.
