We’ve arrived at the culmination of the NFL Draft and the Houston Texans still have a lot of work to do in terms of culling through all of the prospects heading their way.

As you know, the Houston Texans have been relatively silent on the free agency front since it started back in mid-March.

They let contributors such as A.J. Bouye, John Simon, Quintin Demps, Oday Aboushi and Don Jones hit the road and eventually they’ll receive compensatory picks in future drafts.

The Texans did sign tight end Ryan Griffin to a three-year, $9 million deal to solidify the duo of he and C.J. Fiedorowicz.

But back to draft — this is area I feel the Houston Texans wanted to make the most impact in bringing players along that can contribute immediately.

So just how did Rick Smith and Bill O’Brien do?

Here’s my report card — by each pick — on how did they did.
