Houston Texans’ Tidbits:

Will Fuller:   Fuller has been battling a hamstring injury for the past month.  He has continued to play but apparently it has flared up again.  In addition, he has been limited in practice all week so if he can’t go, Braxton Miller will be at the ready to start in his stead.

Quintin Demps:  Demps injured his calf this past Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings and has not practiced this week.  Eddie Pleasant and sophomore corner back Corey Moore will likely be handling the strong safety duties for this Sunday.

Brian Peters:  The multi-talented member of the Texans injured his quad muscle against the Vikings.  Although he’s listed as linebacker, Peters had been handling the kickoffs as of late because of what Bill O’Brien saw in his work ethic at practice.  Our defensive line is already quite deep so Peters was the odd man out.  Not to mention that he was a kicker in high school and has bounced around the league quite a bit, finding a home with the Texans for now.  Nick Novak will resume the kickoff duties until Peters is ready to return.

And here’s the injury report for the Indianapolis Colts:

WR Quan Bray, Shin

CB Darius Butler, Hand

C Jonotthan Harrison, Illness

WR T.Y. Hilton, Hip

DT Zach Kerr, Ankle

QB Andrew Luck, Right Shoulder

ILB Josh McNary, Shoulder

WR Donte Moncrief, Shoulder

CB Patrick Robinson, Knee and Hip

RB Robert Turbin, Shoulder & Wrist

Butler, Harrison, Kerr and Moncrief have already been ruled OUT for Sunday.  Bray, Hilton and Robinson are listed as QUESTIONABLE.  Luck, McNary and Turbin are PROBABLE.

Indianapolis Colts Tidbits:

T.Y. Hilton:  Luck’s favorite target, Hilton is suffering from a hip injury apparently sustained from the Colts match up with the Chicago Bears.  He did not practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday but participated in full today and was seen in good spirits.  Although he is ruled as questionable, it’s likely that we’ll see him lined up Sunday night.  Two-year receiver Phillip Dorsett will be on-hand just in case that Hilton can’t go.

Next: JD Clowney Tops An Important List

Quan Bray:  With starter Donte Moncrief not returning for at least a couple of more weeks from a shoulder injury, a lot of the offensive load will rely heavily on Bray as well as Chester Rogers‘ shoulders outside of T.Y. Hilton.  Bray hasn’t practiced all week so it’s a coin-toss on whether or not he’ll be able to contribute to an already depleted unit.

The Texans are back at home to take on the Colts at NRG Stadium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CDT.

The game will be televised on NBC and broadcast on 610 SportsRadio AM/100.3 FM (KILT) & ESPN Deportes 1180 (KGOL) in Spanish.

Go Texans.
