Week 11 Injury Report: Houston Texans Vs. Cleveland Browns

facebooktwitterreddit

The Houston Texans have just completed their long-awaited bye week to rest and recuperate from the bangs-and-bruises of the rigorous NFL schedule.

It was as if this past week couldn’t have come soon enough for the Texans as they seemed to stumble their way into it instead of gallantly transitioning their way in.

Our favorite players were dropping like flies against the Philadelphia Eagles in their home match up two weeks ago.

I was concerned who would be available to play this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

Some players are on the mend, some are not.

There are a few maladies to pay close attention to for each team taking part in tomorrow’s contest.

Take a look:

For the Houston Texans, here are the players that are listed on the injury report:

Jackson has been ruled out for tomorrow, Foster is listed as questionable, Clowney, Cushing, Joseph, Morris, Reed, Simon, Tarpinian, and Tuggle are all probable.

Although Foster is listed as questionable, he will be out tomorrow according to a report.

Jackson has not practiced all week and is still healing from his knee injury sustained two weeks ago.  He is expected to miss two to four weeks of time.

And here’s the injury report for the Cleveland Browns:

Bademosi, Cameron and Taylor have been ruled out.  Gipson is listed as questionable.  Bryant, Hawkins, McDonald, Mingo and Winn are all probable.

Thomas should be a go as he did practice in full yesterday and his absence was not injury-related.

The Cleveland Plain-Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot reported that Gipson expects to be cleared to play tomorrow:

This news does not bode well for Ryan Mallett as he will be a boost to the Browns’ pass-rush — Gipson leads the NFL in interceptions with six.

Cameron has been battling a myriad of injuries and has been out the past two weeks as a result of a concussion.  Browns’ head coach Mike Pettine said that he’s unsure if he’ll be back this season.

ESPN’s Tony Grossi reported that Taylor has been placed on injured reserve to undergo season-ending knee surgery:

And there you have it — a few injuries to keep an eye on.
