Holds, Hits & Homers: Houston Astros MiLB Recap: Aug. 30

It’s finished to completion!  Saturday night’s action in the Pacific Coast, Texas, California and Midwest Leagues resulted in two of our four teams prevailing over their respective opponents.  A split!

The RedHawks fell to the Iowa Cubs 3-0, falling two games back in the race for a playoff spot.  They have two more games to go and hopefully they can secure it.

Delino DeShields had a solid performance last night, going 1-for-3 with one double, two ribbies and one stolen base.  DeShields in currently is the frontrunner in the Texas League with 52 stolen bases on the season.  His 57 RBIs are ranked 7th in the league.  What a turnaround he has had despite the facial injury he sustained earlier this year.
