Dreams, Drops & A Debut: Houston Astros MiLB Recap: Aug. 28

And that’s the final out! Tuesday night’s action in the Pacific Coast, Texas, California and Midwest Leagues resulted in one of our four teams prevailing over their respective opponents.

The RedHawks had the night off but will resume play tonight against the Iowa Cubs for a four-game set — which will be their final of the season.  Their playoff hopes are alive and this series will pivotal in regard to their positioning.

The River Bandits match up against the Clinton LumberKings has been postponed to tonight — the teams will play a doubleheader with the first pitch scheduled at 5 p.m. CDT and Game 2 to follow shortly thereafter.

Outfielder James Ramsay made his debut with the JetHawks last night.  He seemed to be languishing with the River Bandits but finally went on a tear to get promoted.  He is a gifted ballplayer and it’s good to know things are looking up for him.  He will be a valuable asset during the JetHawks’ playoff run!

Ramsay went 1-for-4, with a walk, a stolen base as well as being caught stealing once and one pick off.
