Both Chad Qualls and Scott Feldman were placed on waivers a few days ago. Qualls was claimed and Feldman cleared, according to Ken Rosenthal (Fox Sports).

Chad Qualls, 36, has a 3.07 ERA and a 38/5 K-BB ratio in 44 innings this season. The Astros have until Wednesday to make a decision on Qualls’ future. He is signed through the 2015 season, with a cheap team option for 2016, making him a highly sought after reliever.

Scott Feldman has a 4.37 ERA in 137 innings pitched this season. He will pitch tonight against the Oakland Athletics.

The Astros signed Feldman to a 3-year, $30 million deal this past offseason, but owe him just $18 million total the next two seasons.

Feldman can be dealt anytime over the course of the regular season, but has to be dealt before August 31st to be eligible for a team’s playoffs roster.
