Houston Texans Release First Preseason Depth Chart

The Houston Texans released their first preseason depth chart of the preseason yesterday.

Here’s how it looks:

Random notes/thoughts:

– Both Arian Foster and Andre Johnson are currently listed as starters. They should see a series or two.

– Justin Tuggle and Jeff Tarpinian are listed as the starting inside linebackers. UDFA Max Bullough will likely see a lot of playing time in game one.

More from Houston Texans

– Jadeveon Clowney gets the start at JACK with Whitney Mercilus coming off the bench.

– Kendrick Lewis is listed as starting FS. Chris Clemons 2nd and Lonnie Ballentine 4th.

– Mike Thomas is listed as the starting KR/PR.

– Pretty excited for the 2nd-string QB battle between Case Keenum and Tom Savage.

– Other guys I’m excited to watch: C.J. Feidorowicz, Chris Boswell, Jay Prosch, Tim Cornett…yes, I’m weird.

The Houston Texans open up preseason play with the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday. The game is at 7:30 PM CT and can be seen on ABC (KTRK).
