The chances of the Houston Astros trading Tony Sipp are 50/50, according to Chris Cotillo (MLB Daily Dash).

The 31-year old has posted a 2.45 ERA in 29.1 innings with the Astros this season, including a 41/7 K/BB ratio.
Sipp is one of two Astros relief pitchers that other teams are looking into acquiring. Chad Qualls has also been mentioned in trade talks but it doesn’t seem likely the Astros will trade him away.
The Houston Astros know what the market is for Sipp after the Huston Street and Joakim Soria deals, two trades that many believe were great values for the teams trading away their relievers. The Astros would likely deal Sipp if they received a similar offer.
Sipp is one of the more likely Astros to be dealt, though it’s hard to predict any of GM Jeff Luhnow’s moves.
MLB’s trade deadline is on July 31st at 3:00 PM CT.
