According to Yahoo Sports’, Adrian Wojnarowski, the Washington Wizards and the Houston Rockets have agreed to a sign and trade for Trevor Ariza.

The Wizards will receive an $8.5 million trade exception from the Trevor Ariza sign and trade. They will be able to use that money for future trades.
The Rockets turned to Trevor Ariza after the Mavericks offered Chandler Parsons a deal that would have him making $15 million a year. The Rockets found a more salary cap friendly replacement in Ariza and he will join the Rockets next season on a four-year, $32 million deal.
The 6’8″, small forward had an amazing season with the Wizards, he averaged 14.4 ppg, 2.5 apg and 6.2 apg last season. Trevor Ariza is best known for his role on the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2009 Championship team. Trevor Ariza is known for his defense and athleticism.
The Rockets take back Gee and a pick, and possibly another salary or two. The Omer Asik and Omri Casspi part of the deal completes the Rockets original deal with the Pelicans.
