The Houston Rockets are working quickly to trade PG Jeremy Lin, according to Adrian Wojnarowski (Yahoo! Sports).

The end goal, as Wojnarowski says, is to clear enough room to sign Chris Bosh.
The Rockets already have a deal in place or Omer Asik, though things may be slightly complicated with a lower cap than expected. The Pelicans are expected to make one more small move before agreeing to take Asik in a trade.
The 76’ers are the favorites to trade for Lin, though the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks have also been mentioned as suitors. Other teams could get in the mix as well, with the Rockets looking to trade Lin by this weekend.
Trading away Asik and Lin are two of the several moves the Rockets need to make in order to clear enough cap space for Chris Bosh.
