While Houston Rockets wait for a decision from Chris Bosh on max offer, I’m told they reached out to Luol Deng’s camp again today.

If James is plan A, Anthony plan B, and Bosh is plan C, Deng is probably plan L. Or something like that.
Deng averaged 16.0 points and 5.7 rebounds for the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers last season. He’s a great defensive player but only shoots 32.9 percent from beyond the arc throughout his career.
The only way Deng becomes a member of the Rockets is if Chandler Parsons signs elsewhere. The Rockets are expected to match any offer brought Parsons’ way, but things could get tricky if he signs a max offer sheet, similar to what Gordon Heyward just received from the Charlotte Hornets.
The Rockets hope Parsons waits long enough so they can figure out their plans in regards to James, Anthony, and Bosh, but if Parsons signs an offer sheet and is let go, and the Rockets strike out on the big three free agents, then it’s certainly possible the Rockets end up with Deng.
As with every other free agent and report, only time will tell.
James, Melo, Bosh…Hurry up already!
