The Houston Rockets are interested in Paul Pierce according to ESPN’s Marc Stein.
Blazers, Grizzlies, Bulls, Mavericks, Rockets … teams I’m told called tonight to register interest in Brooklyn’s Paul Pierce BESIDES Clips

Pierce, 36, averaged 13.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 75 games with the Brooklyn Nets this past season.
The veteran earned over $15 million last season but will take a huge pay cut if he plans on signing with a contender.
Pierce brings a valuable veteran presence to the locker room and still has some basketball left in the tank. He shot 45% from the field and 37% from beyond the arc last season, and could give the Rockets close to 20 minutes a game off the bench next season.
Pierce has lots of interested suitors which could drive his price a bit higher than the Rockets would like. He’d be an interesting addition if the Rockets choose to go that path.
Stick with House of Houston for all the latest on the Rockets offseason.
