My, oh, my! The Houston Astros continue to produce some of the best minor league talent the last few seasons. And now that success continues with the Futures Game rosters being announced on Tuesday.
SS Carlos Correa, who is injured, and RF Domingo Santana, have been named to the Futures Game.

Domingo Santana has continued to prove himself with the Oklahoma City RedHawks this season while maintaining a stat line of .296/.378/.493 with 12 HR and 47 RBI through 78 games.
Unfortunately, Carlos Correa will not participate in the festivities because of the serious leg injury he suffered Saturday night. He most likely finishes the season with 6 HR, 57 RBI, 36 BB, and only 45 SO over the course of 62 games while maintaining a .325/.416/.510 stat line.
And with Santana being the only active Astros representative this year, look for him to receive quite a fair amount of attention.
The Astros will be one of fifteen teams with two players elected to the roster, which is the max for each team to be represented represented by. Don’t expect for them to replace Correa with another Astros prospect, though their are many too choose from.
The Futures Game will be excellent time for Astros fans to get to see one of the Astros top OF prospects, and who knows, you may see him in Minute Maid Park just a month or two afterwards.
