Carmelo Anthony will visit the Houston Rockets once he starts his free agency tour according to Chris Broussard (ESPN).
Sources: Carmelo Anthony will visit Houston, Dallas and Chicago once teams are allowed to meet with free agents on July 1

Like Dwight Howard last summer, Anthony will hear pitches from different teams before he decides on his future team. He will likely also talk about his future with LeBron James as well as other free agents.
Houston is mentioned first in Broussard’s tweet, but it doesn’t necessarily mean he will visit with the Rockets first.
It’s also possible Anthony hears from a few other teams, though these three are expected to be the favorites along with the New York Knicks.
The Mavericks and the Knicks pulled off a deal earlier today sending Raymond Felton and Tyson Chandler to Dallas with Jose Calderon, Samuel Dalembert, Shane Larkin, and other pieces heading to New York. This could help Dallas’ chances if Chandler or Felton have a close relationship with Anthony.
For the meantime though, the (national media says the) Bulls are the favorites to land Anthony.
The next two weeks are going to be pretty crazy. Enjoy the ride!
