Belts, Blanks & A Walk-Off: Houston Astros MiLB Recap: June 13

Belts, Blanks & A Walk-Off: Houston Astros MiLB Recap: June 13

It’s a done deal!  Friday night’s protracted action in the Pacific Coast, Texas, California and Midwest Leagues resulted in three out of our four teams prevailing over their respective opponents.

Gregorio Petit was all-in as he hit the walk-off home run to allow the Jethawks to defeat the Las Vegas 51′s 6-5.

The Corpus Christi Hooks won their game off a wild-pitch beating the Frisco RoughRiders 4-3.  The Hooks’ pitching staff was phenomenal and instrumental to their success — they struck out 18 batters combined!

The red-hot Jethawks — who seem to be on cruise control these days — beat the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes impressively getting Manager Rodney Linares his 200th win with the ballclub!  The Jethawks had 13 hits last night!

For the River Bandits, little offense was present resulting in the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers shutting them out 7-0.
