Houston Astros MiLB Recap

Another night of minor league baseball is in the books. Some guys stayed hot and had great nights. Here are the numbers:

Matt Duffy stays hot hitting another HR. He now has 5 HR in AAA and all of them have came in the last 4 games. Enrique Hernandez is hitting .302 on the season and .297 in AAA. Though Santana only had one hit, he didn’t strike out which is nice. Krauss hit a pinch hit 3 run HR, his first since rejoining OKC.

Clemens with a nice outing for OKC. Clemens now has a 0.82 ERA in 22 AAA innings.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (32-33) won 7-0 (BOX SCORE)

Fontana has been scuffling of late but still walking at a high rate (13 BB in last 10 games). Nice to see Tucker, Aplin, Sosa all contribute with hits. Meyer with a big hit but he is only hitting .182 since his demotion to AA. Heineman is hitting .252 with only 18 SO in 38 games.

Luis Cruz returned from the DL and pitched great. He was on a pitch count and threw exactly 60 pitches.  Tyson Perez has only given up 1 ER in 9.1 IP in AA.

Also it appears Preston Tucker may be on his was to AAA.
