Houston Astros Minor League Recap: June 10th

Tuesday night was the big night. The night where Astros fans in Houston had a chance to see the Double-A Hooks come to Minute Maid Park for one night and showcase all their talent. And that they did — at least from an offensive standpoint. Preston Tucker knocked two balls out of the park to give him 17 on the season. Leonardo Heras and Jonathan Meyer had 3 RBI’s each, but the Hooks’ 14 runs STILL weren’t enough for a win.

AAA: Oklahoma City RedHawks (35-31) lost 4-0 (BOX SCORE)

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (29-30) lost 15-14 (BOX SCORE)

A+: Lancaster JetHawks (42-24) – OFF

A: Quad Cities River Bandits (34-30) won 6-2 (BOX SCORE)

Today’s Scheduled Starting Pitchers (according to team websites):

OKC – Brett Oberholtzer (5.00 ERA)

CC – Luis Cruz (3.99 ERA)

LC – Chris Devenski (4.28 ERA)

QC – Evan Grills (3.23 ERA)
