Bucher: Kevin Love Would Choose Golden State Warriors Over The Houston Rockets

In a Bleacher Report video, Ric Bucher says Kevin Love would prefer the Golden State Warriors over the Houston Rockets.

The case?

Bucher says, “Seeing himself play pick and roll with Steph Curry, and having an Andrew Bogut next to him defensively, and a Klay Thompson as another option to score from the perimeter, is much more attractive right now than looking at playing pick and roll with James Harden and have Dwight Howard there. No offense to the Houston Rockets, but this is a guy that loves California, loves the west coast, and particularly loves the way the Warriors are built.”

I believe it. Love has been known to be a west coast guy, which is why many believe he may prefer to play with the Los Angeles Lakers, so Golden State would also make sense as well.

If Kevin Love were a potential free agent looking at a sign-and-trade deal (like Carmelo Anthony), Golden State may be the better option for him. Being able to play alongside Curry and Thompson, and having Bogut to cover up his deficiencies on defense would probably be the better choice.

However, this is not the case. He doesn’t get to choose where he is going. Minnesota needs to make the best deal for themselves, and a deal around David Lee and Andre Iguodala with nothing else in return may not cut it. Heck, Houston’s potential deal of Jeremy Lin, Omer Asik, Terrence Jones, and picks may not cut it either.

Love would fit well in Golden State and would love it there. However, I do believe he fits well in Houston and would enjoy his time as a championship contender for the next 3-5 years with the Rockets as well.

If it was a choice for Love, I agree with Bucher. He would probably choose Golden State. However, it will ultimately come down to what package the Timberwolves prefer, not where Kevin Love prefers.

well hope he does not mind losing to the rockets all the time because thats what golden state does

      Oh is it? Wrong.

Good for him. I hopes he gets his wishes. Nothing wrong with that. He wants a White squad like he have in Minny with Rubio, Budinger, Pekovic with some Black workhorse like Brewer.

Which is why he wouldn’t be a good fit with my Rox and a BLACK SQUAD with Howard and Harden.

And once we get Melo and get rid of Lin and his bromance, Parsons, then we can contend and not have to worry about weak-links like Parsons, Lin, Asik, Motijunas and Casspi.

And trio of Howard, Harden and Melo……haha, I love to see that group trounce a Great White Hope squad of Love, Bogus and David Lee.

Harden and Melo? All I see is the ultimate non defensive duo ever.

reading your racist and ill-informed rundown of Love’s options killed a few of my brain cells.

You’re an extreme Black racist. Your comments is nothing but disgusting trash.
