A Saga of Smacks and Streaks: Astros MiLB Recap: May 8

And that’s the ballgame! Thursday night’s brow-raising action in the Pacific Coast, Texas, California and Midwest Leagues notched wins for three out of our four teams.

Jon Singleton popped his 11th home run in the RedHawks 8-3 win making him the HR leader in the Pacific Coast League. Matt Duffy brought in two guys to earn his 23rd RBI — tied for first in the Texas League.

The JetHawks scratch out a 3-2 win over the Storm, tying them for first place. The River Bandits had a powerful 8th inning to come back and beat the Snappers for their third straight W.

It was a night of notable stats for all!
