The Houston Texans have plenty of options at the #33 spot tonight. Their are many great players still available that could fill big holes for the Texans.

While the Texans could certainly use one of these players for themselves, other teams will certainly be calling with trade offers to jump ahead of other teams. Marqise Lee, Louis Nix III and Derek Carr were prospects that were expected to go higher in the draft, and teams with those needs could be calling with offers to move up.

Texans GM Rick Smith has a history of trading down, and has let it known they are willing to move down again. The Texans have several holes to fill and picking up another mid-round pick would go a long way in adding depth to the Texans.

Here are a few trade back options the Texans should entertain for the #33 pick. We used the DraftTek trade value chart for help with the proposals. This value chart isn’t the way GMs trade picks, but it’s a good calculator to gauge potential trade options.
