A Night of the O-Fers: Houston Astros MiLB Recap: May 1

A Night of the O-Fers: Astros MiLB Recap: May 1

Final out!  Thursday night’s tepid action in the Pacific Coast, Texas, California and Midwest Leagues notched losses for all of our teams.

The RedHawks ending up splitting the series with the Express.  For the Hooks, Brady Rogers recovered as gracefully as possible by retiring his last nine batters after giving up four runs in the first inning.  In addition, Leonardo Heras now has amassed three triples on the season — tied for first in the Texas League.

The JetHawks continue to struggle, winning only four of their last ten games and were not able to cool off the hot-hitting High Desert Mavericks tonight.

The River Bandits undertook a doubleheader making up Monday night’s postponed match up.  It marks the first time in the past nine doubleheaders that they’ve been swept.

Rough night for all!
