2014 NFL Schedule To Be Released Later Tonight

Yep. The NFL is so popular these days that they had an announcement regarding when they would announce the 2014 NFL Schedule. Crazy. Where will you be for tonight’s NFL Schedule party? Ok, we’re not quite yet there. Both the NFL Network and ESPN will be airing the schedule release simultaneously.

Date: Wednesday, April 23rd
Start Time: 7pm CST

We already know the Texans four preseason opponents though the official times and dates have yet to be announced.

Week 1 – Houston at Arizona
Week 2 – Atlanta at Houston
Week 3 – Houston at Denver
Week 4 – San Francisco at Houston

We also know the Texans opponents for the 2014 season.

Tennessee Titans (7-9)
Baltimore Ravens (8-8)
Cincinnati Bengals (11-5)
Philadelphia Eagles (10-6)

As Drew Dougherty notes, the Texans will travel approximately 15,554 miles this season.

There are also reports that some games will be flexed as early as Week 5 with new rules in place.
