Astros Minor League Recap: Easter Edition


We only had two games in the Astros minor league system on this Easter Sunday, resulting in a 1-1 record between them. Quad Cities and Lancaster got the day off, so if given the proper information, we’ll have a slideshow over what each player got in their Easter baskets.  I’m thinking some of these guys got stiffed with some Peeps or some other travesty of a confection.  Others seemed to get some of the good stuff.  There were a few long balls by some players I’m hoping to see sooner rather than later.  I’ve got some tweets out, so hopefully we’ll find out soon.  Maybe they’ll just have to send some of these guys up to the bigs.  I wouldn’t complain.  That, of course, would be much easier if the AAA team was closer to Houston… say… north of The Woodlands?  I would buy season tickets.  Until then, here are some Easter Sunday stats:
