Houston Astros Minor League Recap: April 16th

Oklahoma City Redhawks, Lancaster Jethawks and Quad Cities River Bandits were all in action with Corpus Christi Hooks getting the day off.

The Redhawks fortunately did not feel the loss of their #3 hitter, George Springer. OKC took a quick 1-0 lead before Jake Buchanan got shelled for 6 runs in the third inning. Singleton triple and scored bringing the Redhawks within four runs, 6-2. In the top of the 7th Max Stassi double and Singleton homered to score 2 runs and cement the game.
