Springer should have been called up towards the end of last season, when the Astros were on their way to a 100 something loss season.
What can we expect from Springer? Well, he’s likely not going to tweet gay slurs via Twitter. He’s wasn’t born in Utah. Also, you can bet that he’ll be taller than Jose Altuve. Maybe he’ll take Altuve’s clean up spot in the batting order. That’s if Altuve is still batting third. I’m not sure, because I don’t have CSN Houston.
Springer has earned his way up. It looks like I’m going to have to actually go to an Astros game now, so I can see what this guy is going to bring to the table.
Springer hit a grand slam earlier this evening with the OKC Redhawks.
