Bayou City Headlines: Houston Texans Preseason Schedule Released


Is there anything more exciting than the preseason schedule release?!? Didn’t think so. The schedule has officially been released and the Texans will head to Arizona to face the Cardinals during week one of the preseason. The Atlanta Falcons will come to Houston week two before the Texans head back on the road to face the Denver Broncos week three. The Texans will be at home facing the San Francisco 49′ers for the final week of the preseason. Check out the rest of the links for more on Houston sports. 

 

Houston Astros

Nielsen’s Houston ratings report for Monday shows a 0.0 rating for households, adults 25-54 and men 25-54 for the afternoon Angels-Astros game at Minute Maid Park. The Angels won the game 9-1.

The question is will the Texans deliver shock and aweor just shock factor on NFL Draft night? The prevailing opinion is they should get this right. It comes down to what is right for the Texans. It was difficult to determine the direction of Rick Smith and former Head Coach Gary Kubiak. It will be even more difficult to determine the direction of General Manager Rick Smith and new Head Coach Bill O’Brien.
