Bayou City Headlines: The Houston Texans Would Select Blake Bortles If Draft Were Today

According to a source close to Matt Miller (Bleacher Report), the Texans would select Blake Bortles if the draft were today. I’m not totally surprised by the report as several insiders have been high on Bortlesm and more and more are jumping on his bandwagon. Well, good thing the draft isn’t for another 2+ months, because I’m not ready to jump on that train quite yet. Brooks was in his second tour with the Rockets. The guard played for the Rockets from 2007-10 and was the team’s leading scorer in the 2009-10 season with 19.6 points per game. Brooks is one of Houston’s fan favorites and said Tuesday that he was happy to be in Houston.
