Bayou City Weekend Headlines: Houston Rockets Call Up Robert Covington

The Houston Rockets have called up Robert Covington from their D-League affiliate Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Covington averaged 25.7 ppg on close to 37% from beyond the arc this season. The Rockets need more bodies during practice with Francisco Garcia now banged up. Covington becomes the fourth member of the Vipers to reach the NBA this season. Houston Texans

Arian Foster was injured before the season and ended the year with just 542 yards on the ground and 183 through the air. Foster missed the preseason with calf and back injuries. When he played, he showed signs of being the same Foster but his season ended early when he needed back surgery.
